: Harry riding his broomstick over the castle of Hogwarts which is ideal coloring fun of the magical, adventure kind.
This exciting Harry Potter coloring page takes a powerful image of Harry riding high in the air on his broomstick above the magnificent heights of Hogwarts Castle with the magical surrounding under his view. His robes of Gryffinder wave behind his back, his hand is clenched to the broom and the light of either the moon or the sun plays off the stone walls of the castle. The turrets, arched bridges, and Black Lake sparkling in the distance, are below. The more varied the line drawing, the more coloring options exist--the fur of the broom handle, the grooves in the castle walls. The setting of this scene can be envisioned as either a Quidditch practice game or a flight at night which is full of adventure, freedom and magic.

The way to Paint
Begin with George as Harry with hair in a raven-black with an occasional streak of lighter color to give them shine. His Gryffindor robes may be a bold scarlet red with velvet golden yellow trim and his scarf can be the same as the house. The grips of the broom must be shaded with browns which are warm but more dark to have wood grain, and bristles in golden or straw-like color. The Hogwarts Castle can be painted in dim gray rocks, darker gray in case of the shadowed surfaces, and the roofs can be slate blue or deep green. The Black Lake down below can be a blend of blues and dark grays with flashing white specs of the reflected light. When the scene is to be a day scene, then go to a bright blue sky with fluffy white clouds; on the other hand when the scene is a night scene, choose rich navy, purples and some scattered silver or white stars. To make it magical, dab on some glowing yellow or gold pigment on the edges of Harrys broom and the windows of the castle with metallic gel pens to get the desired effect of the scene.
