Towering head and shoulders above everyone as he holds his lantern in one hand and a bucket full of food in his other, Hagrid is surrounded with an array of mythical creatures surrounding him, a curious unicorn peeking out of some trees, a shy thestral on another, and a couple of nifflers hiding behind tree trunks. The way to Color
Start with more earthy elements of Hagred clothing, dark grey-brown coat, tan warm-coloured shirt and dark green or maroon pants. His hair and beard is of dark brown and black with lighter streaks to make it textured. The magical animals offer ample opportunity to get creative- work with soft whites and silvers to represent a unicorn, dull to dark grays and iridescent purples to represent a thestral, or glimmering gold and browns to represent nifflers. The trees may be shaded in deep browns and mossy greens and you can shade the areas in the moonlight in lighter gray-browns. To make the forest floor, blend deep greens, browns and yellow highlights to depict fallen leaves and plants. The light of lantern can be produced with warm yellows and oranges, the soft mix-out of the light to the objects that are close by such as Hagrid and the creatures that surround him can be created. To put some more magic in them, outline the shadows of the creatures or the particles floating in the air with silver or glitter gel pens.
